A church that has been here a while.

We’re a small church family in Winter Haven, Florida, and we have been part of this community for a long time. When the church started, the land around us was mostly groves and open country east of Winter Haven. We have been here through all the changes since.

Today Dundee Road is a busy stretch of town, and a lot of people drive past our front door every day. We would like to meet more of them.

Everyone is welcome. Come as you are and worship with us.

The Bible is preached here, and Jesus is the reason we gather.

Why do folks call us “exciting”?

Our name is Lake Region Baptist Church. But if you ask around Winter Haven, you will probably hear somebody call us Exciting Lake Region Baptist. The name stuck a long time ago, and we like it.

It’s what happens when a small-town congregation sings like it means it, greets you like family, and opens the Word with real joy. You’ll have to come see for yourself.

When we meet

Sunday mornings here look about like you’d expect: singing, prayer, preaching from the Bible, and people who are glad you came. We meet three times a week, and any one of them is a good first visit.
